Gresham Professorship

IGRC Deputy Director Milton Mermikides has been appointed the 37th Gresham Professor of Music, a post founded in 1597 delivering free public lectures. Previous incumbents include John Bull, Iannis Xenakis, John Dankworth, Joanna MacGregor, Chris Hogwood, Christopher Page and Marina Frolova-Walker. The post provides a privileged opportunity to share our current knowledge of music – including research at the IGRC – to a global audience.
